In this talk, Chelsea will discuss the importance of soils for regenerative future, provide a refresher on the basics of soil health, and discuss ways that ranchers and farmers can steward their soils in a way that promotes health and vitality of their land. Participants will have an opportunity to participate in the conversation, get their hands dirty, and ask questions.

Spencer Smith, Global Expert on Regenerative Agriculture & Soil Health, Working with Farmers, Ranchers, Land Managers, Conservation Groups, Governments and NGO's.

Location: Education Corral

Join Spencer for an interactive field walk. This walk will be very conversational, filled with questions and answers. We will dig into soil microbiome and the importance of biodiversity in order to maximize health, production and profit.

Promoting the Grassfed Community for America's Family Farms:

Carrie Balkcom, Executive Director, American Grassfed Association

Location: Education Corral

Join Carrie for a presentation on "Promoting the Grassfed Community for America's Family Farms". America's farm policy of "one size fits all" no longer works. American Grassfed Association has created standards for pasture based production for ruminants, including dairy, pastured swine production and in the works, standards for pastured poultry. By working with producers, we have created standards that are meaningful in the market place and are a workable set of standards for producers.
